Craft 'n Chat Event
Gather With Fellow Crafters...
Throughout the year, the Crafting Cottage hosts several different classes, workshops, themed events and even special multi-day/overnight retreats.
A popular event, known as a "Craft 'n Chat" is simply an opportunity for crafters to come to the Cottage for a few hours or a couple of days (depending on how the event is scheduled). Crafters enjoy their own "crafting station", access to the Tool Room, kitchen, Library Lounge and even the onsite retail shop.
The Tool Room has so many opportunities to help you create 3D cards, scrapbook albums, interactive projects so easily. Take advantage of using the Accu-Cut die-cutting machine and the commercial dies to cut out boxes, bags, themed albums, embellishments, 12x12 pages with unique shapes. There are embossing folders and embossing machines to use. Crafters will find thousands of rubber stamps, as well as regular thin metal dies and die-cutting machines.
Sign up for a card class or a "technique" class and discover something new. There are stenciling classes, scrapbooking classes and even some fun "Mystery Challenge Night" classes.
Many new friendships have been made at the Cottage through several of the various events at the Crafting Cottage.

Private Weekend Retreats at The Crafting Cottage
Groups of up to six crafters can reserve the Crafting Cottage for their own private crafting weekend.
The Cottage is a more cozy and intimate place for friends to gather.
The main Workshop room has six individual stations complete with comfortable chairs, ample lighting and at least 6' of table space for each crafter to have all to themselves.
Crafters have full access to the Tool Room, the Library Lounge, kitchen, dining area, front porch plus four bedrooms with dedicated bathrooms and a half bath just steps from the Workshop room.
Available dates for 2027 will be posted in January of 2027. The rate for a typical Friday to Sunday remains $1200.00 + $144 (taxes) for 2027. This amount gets split up by the number of crafting guests. Everyone in the group pays a $200.00 non-refundable deposit up front to secure the reservation.
